Robinson Law is a boutique financial law firm located in North Carolina and Texas. The firm is led by Cristal Robinson, a seasoned attorney previously with larger firms and in the accounting sector. We service all needs generated by life's up and downs, with practice areas in most life matters: business, taxation, and trademarks along with educational law.
Robinson Law appeals to high technology-minded clients, because of the level of experience and attention that they offer. Having spent years practicing, Cristal has quickly become knowledgeable in many issues facing the individual and business. When opening her own firm, she decided to cut out the bureaucracy and streamline the process between client and attorney. Every client gets her personal cellphone number.
For the average person, involvement with the legal system can be intimidating. Robinson Law is dedicated to ensuring that their clients have a positive experience with the legal system regardless of the reason for their involvement. Robinson Law has experience helping clients navigate the legal system. Robinson Law believes in a personal, client-centered approach to legal advocacy. No two legal issues are the same; therefore, no two solutions are the same. Each client deserves to be given the time and attention required to thorough analyze and then resolve their legal issue. At Robinson Law clients are not just files but are real people with real problems or concerns that require the advice and assistance of an experienced and dedicated attorney.
Robinson Law wants your experience with the firm to be as stress free as possible. One way we do this is to offer flat-rate billing for representation of many areas of law, mediation, and consulting. We provide you with a Fee Agreement that lays out the scope of work to be completed by the firm, your responsibilities, the payment arrangement, and other terms.
There are many ways to bill for legal representation: by the time against an advanced fee or billed in the future, a minimum fee, a set retainer, contingency, etc. We still use several of these methods for some of our cases, but for the most part we have come to realize that FLAT RATE BILLING REPRESENTATION is the best for the firm, and more importantly, YOU, the client.
This allows the firm to use technology to help with efficiency instead of billing how long it took while also allowing the client the opportunity to know the cost of the legal services at that time, to stop at certain points during the case, and to feel they can contact the firm without being billed per minute.
Not every matter is a good fit for flat-rate billing, but we can offer it for most areas. We have subscription billing, minimum or retainer billing, advanced payment billing, and even contingency payments, please allow us to explain our billing process. We are available to help you.
Cristal Robinson has a strong background in the legal, financial, and accounting sectors. Besides her law degree, she has an MBA with an emphasis in accounting and a finance degree. With over two decades in business, she has helped many businesses and non-profits to start, expand, or get back on track, as well as over a decade of helping people with family, estate, and bankruptcy.
She is a member of the State College Bar for education and received recognition for her many years providing pro bono work. She is a member of the Pauli Murray LGBTQ Bar Association, the Mecklenburg Bar Diversity & Inclusion Committee, and many other local, state, and national legal associations.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Cristal owned American Real Estate Services, a real estate and mortgage company. With over two decades in business, she has been active in a number of professional and community organizations including Leadership Amarillo and Canyon, American Constitution Society, Girl Scouts, United Way, and Rotary. In addition to her thriving career, she is a wife of almost 3 decades and a mother.
Cristal understands the huge role that technology plays in the 21st century and takes advantage of it to connect and communicate with clients, while understanding the crucial advantage of personal service that can be provided with a knowledgeable legal team of educated paralegals. You, the client, shape her mission of being committed, diligent, and responsive to your legal and business needs, while using technology and personal service.
She is available by email, text message or Facebook, and her website ALT789.com. The website allows clients to complete worksheets and questionnaires before and during the process allowing them to have control over their case. Her clients also have access to anything in their file, excluding DA files and work product, through a secure portal on her website allowing them access to their complete case day or night along with secure communication with their legal team. Her vision is to provide the highest quality legal services by using technology along with personal service.
